Brian Mason, Director, FCCA

I began my career at Alvis & Company in 1994 as a trainee and progressed through various roles, becoming a Director and major shareholder in 2009.

I qualified as an ACCA member in 2002 and became a Fellow in 2007, also holding an audit registration. My specialism lies in supporting Owner Managed businesses, with a particular focus on accounting, tax, and property-related matters. Additionally, I work with clients making inward investments to the UK from overseas.

Outside of work, I’m a proud father of two and husband to Sharon. I'm passionate about sports and enjoy watching Brentford FC during the winter, as well as cricket in the summer. While I no longer play amateur football, I now spend weekends supporting my daughter on the pitch.

James Bolger, Director, FCCA

My specialist area is Owner Managed Business. I deliver a personal dedicated service that includes business planning and start up, accounts, corporation tax and personal tax and accounting and business advice.

I am an FCCA and have been with Alvis and Company for over 35 years. The principals at Alvis work very much as a team. Our clients highly value our personal approach, and the longevity of our relationships bears testimony to this.

Sport is my passion outside of work and when family life allows I am a keen football, cricket and rugby supporter.

Kayleigh Brooker, Senior Manager, FCCA

I am an FCCA with 10 years of experience at Alvis & Company, where I love working with our close-knit team. My role involves assisting small and medium-sized businesses with a variety of financial needs, from statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax compliance to providing fully outsourced finance function support. I also meet and onboard new clients and provide accounting and taxation advice to both corporate and personal clients. Every day brings something different, which keeps my work exciting.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my young family.

Mollie Lucas, Senior Manager, FCCA

I qualified as an accountant with Alvis & Company and have since gained experience both in practice and industry. In my current role, I support the team with statutory accounts, tax work, and general advisory services. I enjoy working at Alvis & Company because of the diverse range of clients and the unique challenges they bring.

In my spare time, I like spending time with friends, practicing yoga, and staying active through exercise.

Clare Hulacki, Manager, FCCA

I am an ACCA-qualified accountant with extensive experience in supporting small businesses with their accounting and advisory needs. I began my career as a small business owner, which gives me unique insight into the challenges faced by my clients. Over the years, I have also worked with a diverse range of other businesses and property clients.

Since joining Alvis & Company in 2020, I have enjoyed being part of our supportive team. Outside of work, I stay active by running and swimming. I also love cooking and often test new recipes on my friends and family.

Zia Zuberi, Accountant, FCCA

My role at Alvis & Company involves a broad range of accounting and tax responsibilities, including annual accounts, management accounts, payroll, VAT, and various administrative tasks. However, my real passion is for tax work. I believe our company’s strength lies in delivering service that is genuinely client-focused: centred on you as a person, not just your business.

Outside of work, my number one hobby is football.

Iryna Lahoida, Accountant, ACCA Affiliate

I joined Alvis & Company in April 2021, where my role focuses on the preparation of financial statements, tax reports, and various company secretarial tasks.

Outside of work, I am passionate about cooking and enjoy exploring new flavours during my travels.

Kris Appadoo, Accountant

I have almost 10 years of experience in accountancy, and I joined Alvis & Company to manage high-profile corporate accounts for both UK and international clients. My responsibilities also include overseeing VAT and self-assessment tax returns for our clients.

Outside of work, I am an avid Liverpool supporter. I also enjoy country walks, attending cultural events, and spending time with my husky, Sky.

Ibrahim Abdirahman, Accountant

My role at Alvis & Company includes accounting and taxation tasks, such as preparing annual accounts, bookkeeping, and handling both company and personal tax returns, as well as VAT. What I love most about my work is the unique nature and diverse requirements of our clients.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me watching football (a proud Manchester United fan) or learning Arabic.

Shandika Sivaseyon, Accountant

I have been with Alvis & Company for five years, working as a trainee accountant. My responsibilities include preparing annual accounts and tax returns, and I particularly enjoy helping clients with their questions and concerns.

In my spare time, I enjoy baking and spending time with my friends and family.

Daniel Richardson, Accountant

My main responsibilities at Alvis & Company involve working on accounts and preparing personal tax returns.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my young family. When I do have free time, I enjoy playing tennis and the piano.


Geeta Rana, Accountant, MAAT

I am an AAT-qualified accountant, currently pursuing my ACCA qualification. I bring 15 years of experience as an assistant accountant in an accountancy practice. I joined Alvis & Company in 2023 and am pleased to be part of the team here.

Outside of work, I enjoy meditating, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Balraj Bains, Accountant

I graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics with Finance from Queen Mary University of London. At Alvis & Company, I focus on preparing annual accounts while also pursuing my ACCA exams. I appreciate the company’s meticulous approach, ensuring we deliver client-focused service with zero discrepancies.

In my spare time, I love learning about economics and investments. I also hold a Bachelor's and Master's in Mechanical Engineering from City University of London.


Kevin Peterson, Payroll and Bookkeeping specialist

At Alvis & Company, my primary duties include preparing client payrolls, handling Auto Enrolment setup and advice, bookkeeping, and completing VAT returns. I also take pride in organizing office functions.

Outside of work, I follow most sports—though nowadays, it’s mostly from the pub!

Annie Hindle, Bookkeeper

I have worked at Alvis & Company for seven years as a bookkeeper, managing VAT returns and bookkeeping for property clients. I also assist with general administrative duties when needed.

In my free time, I enjoy music, attending concerts, and going to the theatre. One of my ambitions is to take a world cruise someday!

Shelia Knapp, Office Administrator

I have been an office administrator for many years, bringing extensive experience from my previous work at an estate agent and managing the administration for my husband’s small building business for over 40 years. My focus is always on keeping the office running smoothly and helping clients whenever possible.

Outside of work, I enjoy singing at pubs and clubs with a small band, spending time with my grandchildren, and nurturing my growing collection of succulents
